Blinds and Borders is hiring an Installer Assistant / Entry-Level Installer to join our team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with tools, learning practical skills, and being part of a team that takes pride in doing quality work. You will support our installation team on window treatment projects and learn the skills needed to grow into a full installer role.

Blinds and Borders is a small but growing Window Treatments company based in Huntsville, AL. Started in 2007 as an independent, family owned company, Blinds and Borders continues to operate free of any franchise. We serve Madison and surrounding counties with custom blinds, shade, shutters and drapery.
What you'll do
- Support lead installers on job sites
- Prepare products and materials for installation
- Use basic hand tools safely and correctly
- Assist with the installation of blinds, shades, shutters, and drapery
- Follow instructions carefully and learn installation procedures
- Help keep job sites clean, organized, and professional
- Represent the company well in clients’ homes

Compensation:
Starting pay is $15/hr. The right candidate will advance from Installation Assistant to Installer I within 2 weeks, which comes with a $2/hr pay raise. Full career ladder will be shared with qualified candidates during the interview process.
