Ultrasonic Blind Cleaning in Huntsville, AL
Let’s get your old blinds looking like new.
How old are those faux wood blinds in your windows?
Have they been there since you bought your house years ago?
When’s the last time they got a thorough cleaning? Sure, you can wipe down the slats, but do they ever really, totally, completely look and feel clean? And what about the strings?
Or maybe you just moved in - and you didn’t intend to purchase the dust of the prior owner along with the house.

Who has the time?
Who has time to thoroughly clean faux wood blinds? The slats, the strings, the alignment holes.
It’s time consuming and frankly, just annoying.
Let us help.
Dust, pet dander, and pollen settle into every slat, cord, and pleat of your blinds long before you notice it from across the room.
By the time it's visible, your blinds have been feeding that grime back into your air for months.
Taking them down to hand-wash them is a job nobody wants, and one wrong move with the wrong cleaner can warp a real wood blind, fade a fabric shade, or snap a lift cord that isn't cheap to replace on a custom treatment.
Most people end up just living with it.
How it Works
How Ultrasonic Blind Cleaning with Blinds and Borders Works
We offer two options. Drop off and door-to-door service.
Option 1: Drop off service:
Step 1 | You drop off your blinds to our shop anytime before 11am
Step 2 | We Ultrasonically Clean Every Blind
Step 3 | You pick up after 3pm.
Option 2: Door to Door service:
Step 1 | Schedule Your Cleaning
Book a pickup window. We will come to your home, remove each blind to be cleaned, and take them back to our shop.
Step 2 | We Ultrasonically Clean Every Piece
Each blind goes through a water-based ultrasonic bath. High-frequency sound waves create thousands of microscopic bubbles that reach into slats and cord that a duster or vacuum can't touch, no scrubbing, no harsh chemicals.
Step 3 | Your Window Treatments Come Home Looking New
Same day, our own team reinstalls everything same day.
what’s included
What Our Ultrasonic Blind Cleaning Includes
Full ultrasonic clean of every slat, cord, ladder tape, and pleat, not just the parts you can reach with a duster.
Pickup and reinstallation by our own in-house crew, no ladders or guesswork on your end. Or you drop off and pick up at our South Huntsville showroom.
A quick inspection while your treatment is out of the window casing, so a loose cord or a cracked slat gets caught before it becomes a bigger repair.
The same high standard of client care you’ve come to expect from Blinds and Borders.
Blinds and Borders has cared for window treatments across Huntsville and North Alabama since 1997.
We run our own crew from start to finish - we don't hand a job to a subcontractor who's never seen your home. The same dedicated who ensures your installation experience is amazing is the same team who ensures we care for and clean your blinds with excellence.
That's the standard behind our ultrasonic cleaning too: the same service mindset we put into every install, now aimed at keeping the blinds you already own looking and working the way they did the day they were installed.

Blinds and Borders is bringing ultrasonic blind cleaning to Huntsville, Madison, Athens, Decatur, and the surrounding North Alabama communities we've served since 1997.
Ultrasonic cleaning uses a water-based solution and high-frequency sound waves to lift dust, pet dander, pollen, and cooking residue out of slats, cords, ladder tapes, and pleats without scrubbing and without the harsh chemicals that can fade fabric or damage finishes.
The same in-house team that measures, installs, and repairs window treatments across the Huntsville area, we bring that same hands-on knowledge to cleaning them, which means your treatments are handled by people who already know how they were built.
Whether you're preparing your home for guests, dealing with allergy season, or just tired of blinds that look older than they are, our ultrasonic cleaning service is built to restore them without the risk of doing it yourself.
